I hope you are all having a fab weekend despite the weather. Luckily on Friday when it actually felt like summer I got to spend a good part of my day with Kimmie driving to the Town Scrapper in Petrolia to shop, catch up and have a great time! The owner of the Town Scrapper Phebe is an absolute sweetie and we had a great time. You can find Phebe's store blog by clicking here. You can see more of what she carries and also the store information. It is defo worth checking it out and if you live to far to visit she can mail it to you. She also usually has some great sales and always has a selection of cool stamps by lines I can't find other places such as Paper Makeup stamps. I have been searching for them and was sooooo happy to find them at Phebe's. I got this cute fairy that you see in my card today along with a dinosaur that I plan on using for one of my nephews upcoming birthdays. We then topped off our great morning shopping at Town Scrapper with an INCREDIBLE fish and chip lunch at Actor's studio right beside the store. Ellen the owner is a great lady and also a stamper and we plan on doing lunch again soon and swapping some stamp images as we have stamps the other wants lol. Swapping images reminds me of trading stickers when I was younger. I LOVED stickers, especially puffy and smelly stickers. Did anyone else collect and trade those?
Sadly while searching images on the web to show you what I am talking about I found a place that sells them....and now I want some.....OCD anyone........okay I need some justification here ladies...help me tell my hubby why I had to have some of these LOL!!!!!!!!
Here are the copic colours I used on this card. I am getting better and taking a quick pick of them as I have gotten quite a few requests to share them which is an honour as I figure it means my colouring can't be half bad then tee hee. I also got this card's layout from Amy R's weekly sketch, I use these to help the ole mojo and I have used hers lots in the past they are great!
Well we are celebrating my youngest DD's 10th birthday today. It's actually on August 13th but I thought what a great way to wrap up 2 weeks vacation by having a massive gang of young girls run shrieking through the house. Pray for me....LOL. Have a fab Sunday!
