Oh Posey...you warm my heart- you shouldn't have girl- those flowers are lovely!!!! I wanted to use Posey on this week's challenge. The hostess for this week's Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge is Vicki who I had the pleasure to meet at the launch party AND I LOVE HER...trust me this woman is phenominal...just wanted to giver her a quck shout out. I love what she inspired us this week for her Shades of Autumn challenge. So fun and perfect right now. To play along we had to use Brown, Rust and either Green or Yellow on our designs!!
I used my brand new paper that I heart by Basic Grey- Indian Summer- full of lucious colour! I also used my new nesties...and I was tickled to see that Kimmie and I not only used the same image and same nesties but we both also coloured her dress with rust colours. We really are stampin soul sistah's lol!!! The copics I used were E000, E00, W1, E07, E08, RV25, RV29, R20, YG95, E25, E27, E29, C1 and my colourless blender for the boo boo's lol.

Oh and it gets mailed to you before it goes live for the rest of the world. Contact SGD if you want in on the coolest club in town....I am thinking we should get kit club blinkies for club members- does anyone know how to make blinkies????
Well, I am off to take more stuff into SGD for their Garage sale today....I picked up some sweet deals from Julia's box- loved the Kim Hughes line of stamps from CHF...I am over the moon with my garage sale finds! They are open till 4pm today if you want to check it out...
Cheers....Andi
It`s time for our first challenge and it`s one we can all use- make a birthday card! I used Francesca for 2 reasons- she holding birthday cupcakes and also because I haven`t used her and showed her on my blog yet and she ROCKS!! I can`t get over that funky hat, love it! I didn`t intend to cut her out but I tried to do the funky antique backgrounds everyone is using and it bombed- seriously bombed. TIP** don`t try new techniques on your freshly coloured finished image- try it on scrappaper first. Yep from my mistakes to hopefully saving your card lol.
To play along with this challenge you need to create a birthday themed project...a card, a project, a scrapbook page...with the birthday theme! And we realize that not a lot of people have their Kraftin' Kimmie stampsyet, so feel free to use whatever stamps you do have! Maybe you will be our winner this week!
Be sure to link us up in this post, so we can all check out your designs! If you post them to an online gallery, like Splitcoast, please use the keywords, KKSC1 for this week!
The random winner will receive.....their choice of one of the new Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! Cool eh! Click here to go to the challenge blog and see what the DT has made, drool worthy let me tell you!
OH and feel free to grab our Challenge Blog blinkie on the challenge blog sidebar. Just copy and paste the code into a new html gadget on your blog!! And you can blink like us too!! hehe!

Kimmie has the BEST stamping friends and their work is incredible! Be sure to click on their links below my chatter to see the whole blog hop today. My card today is featuring Daisy- who is fashioned after Kimmie's own puppy Daisy who is a hoot- crazy but still a hoot lol!
Before we get to that, I have to share what Sunday was like. SGD held a release party for Kimmie and it was HUGE! At one point we had about 70 people in the store. I had made up 300 make and takes and we were out of them well before closing time. So many amazing people came to support Kimmie it was overwhelming at times. I had a few EMO moments I kept to myself as I watched my friend's dream come true- it couldn't have happened to a nicer girl. I got to see Tara, Diana (Kimmie's sweetheart of a mommy) and Vicki from the DT along with Crissy one of her artists (whose talent is mind blowing) and so many other cool friends. I have to give a big wave to my new friend Vicki (hey girl- hope the drive home was okay) who also brought the awesome Jacquie to hang out. Tara is an absolute sweetie- love that girl and she brought Nicky and Dana. Oh my gosh...there is so many more people I could go on to name - let's just say it was amazing and the energy in the room was incredible! I felt like I was hanging out with famous actors! Those of you who blog hop daily like me know exactly what I am talking about!
Kimmie's online store is open for business starting today (Monday, October 5th) ....also the stamps are deeply etched unmounted rubber We have two different lines, Crissy’s Cuties by Crissy Armstrong and Moonlight Whispers by Annie Rodrigue. The styles are completely different which means there is something for everyone!
I will have some pics later this week later this week to share from the party but for now.....let's get onto the hop details ladies! First- there is a prize to be won! Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog
I totally had to do something fun with Charlotte- she is sooooo Twisty Cute to use Michele Boyer's term for these amazing girlies! I made this frame in the colours of Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps to help put on our table for our launch....speaking of which I have to run as I am off to SGD for Kimmie's launch party. If you are in the London area come and join me today at 1pm. Lots of free makentakes and treats. Okay, I am off but if you have a few minutes to spare I highly recommend visiting the other Krafty girl blogs.......just to fill your days with more twisty loveliness!
Okay......he's cute eh! When Kim described a mouse roasting a marshmallow I was thinking okayyyyyy.......interesting.... Then she showed us this image from my friend Crissy and I was like 'of course it works perfectly lol'. Crissy is such a talented artist, she blows me away with her cute whimsical images. You may recognize Crissy from her work at High Hopes stamps previously and now Kim and Crissy have joined together to make these fabulous images! Crissy's passion for her creations and her family and life truly show in her incredible images. You can meet her Sunday at Scrappingreatdeals at Kim's stamp launch party along with many of the Krafty Girl's on the design team. Sunday at SGD at 1pm- be there if you can!
Kim's store- Kraftin' Kimmie's stamps-is open for business starting Monday, October 5th. The stamps are deeply etched unmounted rubber and you will love how the images turn out. All the sentiments I have been using are from Kimmie’s Everyday Sentiment set and it comes with over 30 cute and fun everyday phrases and the set was created by Jeanne Streiff!! I haven't met her yet but I already love her!
Okay, back to getting the make and takes ready for Sunday. That's right you will have a chance to play with the images before they go on sale to the rest of the world!
Here are the links to the other Krafty Girls to hop along and see their sneak peeks for day 2!
While it is hard for me to pick a favourite of these cute girls that Kim will be carrying I have to say I LOVE Lillith. I think it's the smirk on her face LOL! Please click on the pic for a closer look at how amazing she is. Lillith is drawn by Annie Rodrigue and I adore her style! AND all of Annie's images with this release come with a matching accessory stamp- wicked cool eh! When Kimmie first showed me her images I was bowled over by her amazing style. Lillith wanted me to colour her first with my copics and I found some cool heritage looking paper from Webster's Pages and it made me think of her. I pictured her in her petticoats with her mom trying desperately to teach her to be a lady and she would rather climb trees or catch tadpoles LOL. I would have rather done that too come to think of it. I used Bazzil for my card base and for this sweet card I used some of the last of my lovely brown satin ribbon....sigh.... but let's face it, Lillith is worth it! I have to find more. I hope that you enjoy looking at the other Krafty Girls but first why don't you start at Kim's blog and you can link to the other KG DT's from there. Have you checked out the talent on this DT!!!!! I can't wait to pop around tomorrow and see what these amazing crafters have come up with. Kimmie has TWO sneak peeks for you today! Come on back tomorrow for an adorable image from my friend the fantastic Crissy Armstrong!
How am I doin so far?? Okay okay, one hint....look over to the right on my blinkie side bar- you can see our blinkie and one of her images tee hee. Okay so I cracked...sshhhhh.....
