It's release day at Queen Kat Designs!!!

I just love release days! I am sharing today one of the cool new stamps I get to play with that are being released in November. Today you would have hopped here from Bev's blog or if you need to start at the beginning please click here to start at the QKD main blog.

Today's share is with Monarch Mia and she was really easy and fun to colour. I wanted to play up her tail and make it look like butterfly wings...I was happy with how it turned out! Not sure if you can tell in the pic but I added a thick glaze to her tail and sprinkled in glitter to give it some extra oomph. I am going to see a friend of mine tomorrow who just had a new baby and this card is for her. I used copic markers to colour the image then used some fun paper, die cuts and embellishments that were in the same shades of aqua blue as the paper. I had to use the crystal butterfly too, it just seemed to go with Miss Monarch Mia tee hee.
