Day 2 on our stamping Adventures: Stamping Bella Store!

 

 

 

 

 

  Quick story....didn't know this lady's name so I tried to be all sly and I said 'hey over there..how do you spell your name again??' Helen- 'Helen'. Andrea- clearly not the smooth operator I thought I was...'so did you figure out that I just didn't remember your name'?? Helen- 'yes'. Andrea- *ahem* awkward..... Good thing Helen saw the humour...

5 min card- Bella love

I wanted to challenge myself to make a card in about 5 mins yesterday. This is what I came up with. Nothing too fancy. Clean and simple. A little plain for me but still cute AND my mommy thinks it's fabulous and is wow'd by my artistic ability. I have to say having my mommy here for a week is good for the ole ego! I got my bella at SGD She doesn't have them in the online ordering option but she carries them in her store. Tons of them actually. And next week I am spending ALL DAY MONDAY in the Stamping Bella store playing with stamps and copics. I actually think I am more excited about that then the copic class....is that weird?

I wanted to also share my brilliant youngest daughter's playdoh creations. They are so realistic aren't they. She is bloody brilliant if I do say so myself!

   

 

Now this is not my daughter. It is one of my niecey poo's. This is my sister's youngest and is staying with me for the week. She wanted me to take a pic with her cousin's lovely art work. How could I say no to that face!

  I have 2 nieces around the same age. Here is my other niece- whose name also starts with S like the other one and she is 4. And they both think their Auntie Andrea is FANTASTIC and they are so smart. I just luvs them to pieces!

Well, enough blathering on. It's noon and I should probably get dressed for the day. I know I know, laziness but honestly isn't it fun to be this lazy some days and why not on March break!

Ipodabella- too sassy for words!

  

Okay, how cute is she!!! Check out that butt, I would like that one please LOL. I love this ipodabella as I am a massive music girl. Always have tunes on, if I don't, I likely have a headache. I used a saying from MFT "Hey Sweetie" as she just seemed cheeky and I could see her greeting her friends like that. I have a friend in mind to give this to.....let's see if I actually part with it.

It is a cold and snowy day here in Ontario. Perfect for drink hot drinks, stay inside and stamp. My stampin soul sista Kim ended up being snowed in at my house almost overnight as it was risky to drive. I just want to mention that Jason is making me some home made crepes with chocolate and fresh strawberries. I know I know- SHUT UP eh!!!! I am such a spoiled princess, I can own up to it LOL. Kim, I understand you ending up chancing it and driving home to be with your cute hubby but I hope it doesn't make you sad that you are missing out on the crepes! Hope you have a perfect Sunday resting before back to work on Monday!

First, I have to share some amazing news! Scrappingreatdeals.com now carries Bella stamps, like the one in the pictures in today's post. You have to head on over to check em out. If you haven't stamped with these cute whimsical images they are addictive!   

I had such a fun day today. My stampin soul sista packed up most of her craft room and came over at around 11am to spend the day stamping AND WE DIDN'T GO SHOPPING. See we can be responsible and not spend money like it's burning a hole in our pockets Mr. Husbands! Also, the weather is terrible and it's not safe to drive *ahem* otherwise we may have at least ventured out to Michaels. But we held firm in our "use what we have" kind of day. Turns out we have enough for at least 50 stampers today- better to have too much than too little I always say. Well I don't actually ever say that but it seems fitting to say it here. My awesomest work buddy Dee also came over to stamp as she had a baby shower card to make. Kim was a little surprised at how angry a stamper Dee is. I howl and howl as Dee complains and swears like a sailor and says how much she hates stamping. Kim is looking at me in shock and says to Dee 'well it's not for everyone, maybe you shouldn't stamp'...... as she was seeing how angry Dee is and it's making me laugh so very very hard and I told Kim to wait and see what happens. Dee keeps stamping and swearing then the card is finally, I mean finally finished because Dee felt like it took 12 days to make. Then Dee's voice is all soft and gushy and she says "oooooo, it's so beautiful, i love it. I don't think I can give it away now". And I turn to Kim as Dee is loving her card and say with great finesse "AND......this is why she stamps". Too freakin funny!!!!!!!!

We are having home made subs tonight-mmmmm. And then we are watching Dark Knight and eating dark chocolate M&M's melted into a bowl of popcorn. WHAT! Oh yah, you heard me right. You sprinkle in the M&M's right after it's popped and the chocolate melts inside the hard candy shell and you get popcorn saltiness with melted chocolate gooeyness.......try it......you won't look back.

My first time playing with Bella- Lattebella

 

I bought my very first Bella stamps in October after looking at them for years and they were great to colour and play with! You know how sometimes you kick yourself for not getting on the bus sooner- this is one of those times. I coloured her using my copics and then used my SU choc chip cardstock (fave) for the base and some sparkley paper I have from DCWV. I finished it off with some brown and pink flowers that I had lying around and beggin to be used. I really like how she turned out. Oh, I also had this great saying from MFT stamps; the set is called hot stuff. It fit the image perfectly!
